HEATHER DONAVON

Over the past decade, Heather has been exploring different forms of mental health therapies, the social-emotional arts, and spirituality; a mental wellness journey that has taken her from yoga to transcendental meditation, painting, performing, writing, teaching, recording music and voiceover, voice activation and eventually to crystal alchemy singing bowls. The crystal alchemy bowls she uses are made by Crystal Tones and are the highest quality available, infused with gemstones and minerals that are tuned to her specifications to interact with each other harmonically.

Heather adds her soulful, earthy voice to the mixture and improvises, weaving melodies, harmonies and vocal tones into the chordal structures while transporting the listener. As an educator, Heather will instruct her groups to vocal tone with her to open up the throat center and activate the voice. Heather creates spaces for different-sized groups and rooms, 1:1 sessions, circles, ceremonies, and corporate wellness programs while combining her passion for musical arts with her advocacy for mental wellness to help individuals and groups cultivate peace and harmony within.

Heather has participated in the Social Emotional Arts Certificate Program with the UCLA Arts and Healing Initiative. She has been a professional session singer and live performer for almost two decades (Melody Gardot, Keb’ Mo’, Ben Harper) and is one half of the Americana group Love Me in the Dark.

Heather lives in West Los Angeles with her partner and son. Together, they own McCormick Audio, a Pro Tools recording studio that creates sound-healing recordings for her Be Peace Sound Healing App through Kajabi, along with music for film, TV, and album projects.
