DR. OLIVIA (LIV) TIFFANY

Liv wrote her dissertation on the development and mental health of girls and has many years of experience providing individual therapy and coaching to girls as well as leading therapeutic groups and summer camps for girls. Her most recent project is the creation of Camp Sisterhood — a sleep away camp for girls created and led by doctors of psychology.

Liv is deeply passionate about supporting and exploring the mother-daughter relationship, the healing nature of sisterhood and belonging, and supporting girls to align their lives with a deep sense of inner knowing and truth of what their souls long to create and experience. In her work with girls, Liv uses the lens of culture and gender to explore the specific challenges that girls are facing today. She supports girls to reach their full potential and actualize their truest self through helping them to identify their values, use their voice, tune into their intuition, build health-supporting habits, and engage in healthy relationships. It is through this work that Liv supports girls to move through anxiety, perfectionism, stress, trauma, relational difficulties, disordered eating, depression, and body-image concerns.

Liv also finds focusing on the mother-daughter relationship to be profoundly powerful and healing. In addition to working 1:1 and in groups with girls, she also sees women individually in her therapeutic practice who are curious about using therapy as a way of exploring her relationship to her daughter as well as her own mother. Liv uses the power of connecting to maternal lineage and healing the mother wound as a vehicle to empower women & mothers, which in turn also empowers and heals their daughters and mothers as well.
